President Qin's Little Wife Is The Strongest

Chapter 57

However, this time, she had no interest in selling her painting for the first time.

Before leaving this morning, she had taken a picture and sent it to master Wang Shu to get his opinion.

Just as she entered the school gates, her phone rang and she pulled it out to see he was the one calling.

“I’m a student and need to be in school by this time.” She so as in a whining tone as soon as she picked.

Only heavens knew the amount of calls she had to reject from her master.

“That’s true, you mentioned you are in your senior year. Do you want a recommendation from me in the top arts school in the capital?” Master Wang Shu asked as his mind raced with thoughts.

If she schooled in the capital, he would be able to guide her even better and show her off to all his colleagues that were curious about who his student was.

“I already applied to the B university in the capital. I can get in with my grades.” She added before he rushed ahead and started to meddle in her matters.

.....

“Okay. My student is the best after all, I know you can get in.” Master Wang Shu said.

Instead of talking of the painting she had just sent like Rong Yue expected, Master Wang Shu asked something entirely different.

“Don’t your parents have any interest in meeting your master or do they not allow you to paint?” He asked, his tone was different from his usual bubbly and intrusive way of conversing.

As if he was afraid that with one wrong word, he would harm the relationship between them.

“No, there’s only my mom but I forgot to tell her.” Rong Yue replied as she realized that she had really not told her mother that she had a painting master.

Upon hearing her reply, all the self restraint that Master Wang Shu had broke off immediately.

“How dare you say you forgot!?” He yelled out angrily, forcing Rong Yue to pull the phone away from her ears.

“Master, I’m in school, I’ll call you later.” She hurriedly said into the microphone and hung up immediately and then switched off her phone.

“Whew! How can my master be so agressive.” She sighed and then patted her chest in a dramatic way.

“Yue’er, did I hear you say you have a master?” A sickening familiar voice rang out behind her making Rong Yue stiffen slighty.

“Tong Yang, you are back.” Rong Yue said in a natural tone while totally ignoring what Tong Yang had said before.

She had expected that she would hide her face for more than a week and was definitely not expecting her being back in school today.

“Hmmm, I bet you must have missed me.”

Rong Yue chuckled, her eyes glinting with mirth. Perhaps, if this was a week ago, she might have acted along. Now that she knew that there was no way someone like Tong Yang or even Li Fan was in her league, she had no interest for pretending to be friends with her.

“There’s no way I would miss someone trying to pin their dirty deeds on me Tong Yang.” Rong Yue’s said with her tone flat and serious making Tong Yang frown.

She had tried to pin or pull several things on Rong Yue in the past and she either fell for it or didn’t and they still kept on being friends.

Now that it seemed like Rong Yue was not even interested in being her friend anymore, her face morphed into a sinister light as she watched the tall and elegant back of Rong Yue becoming smaller and smaller.

“Just some small rural girl and she thinks she can now talk back at me?” She muttered before marching towards the class.

Her initial plan had been to walk in with Rong Yue and then inform everyone that they had resolved the matter between them, that way, no one would know if she had truly been wrong or not and would leave the matter ambiguous.

Because of that plan, Tong Yang had come to school earlier than normal and stayed in a corner up until Rong Yue walked in.

Now that she had ruined her plan, she could only enter the class and hope to say it as soon as she sat down.

Unfortunately, when she entered the class, she saw that two boys were lifting Rong Yue’s seat from the middle where the both of them had their seats.

“What’s going on? Why are you moving the desk?” She yelled rushing forward while her eyes searched for Rong Yue.

“I asked them to Tong Yang, let’s not pretend to be friends anymore and just go our separate ways from now.” Rong Yue said, her expression and tone showed that she was unwilling to welcome any drama from her.

For someone with a low mental strength like Tong Yang, she felt like the floor was being swept off her feet the moment she heard her words.

“Rong Yue...”

Very quickly, the two boys that were glad to be helping Rong Yue placed her seat beside the only single seat in the class.

Unwilling to embarrass herself, Tong Yang sat down with no more words.

As for Rong Yue, she was glad that she had finally gotten rid of Tong Yang. Although her seat was at the back, she didn’t mind it too much especially since she didn’t have to listen to the classes for her grades to do well.

The morning classes began and ended without an hitch and during break, Sun Li who had been itching to talk to Rong Yue rushed over at once.

“My small ancestor! You haven’t replied all my messages all weekend.” She said with a pout as she plopped into the empty seat beside Rong Yue.

“I had so many work to do so I turned my phone off.” While she had seen all the messages this morning, she had no interest in replying, besides, she figured she could meet the girl in school.

“Hmmm, are you going to the library? We can talk on the way there.”

“Goddess, do you know who owns this seat you will be sitting beside?” Sun Li rambled on.

“Sun Li.” Rong Yue called out but her one call was enough to make the rambling girl immediately keep quiet.

“I can’t answer five questions at once and yes, I know who sits here.” Rong Yue added and then leaned back on her chair leisurely.

All the several warnings that Sun Li already had in mind disappeared from her mind immediately.

“I have heard people say that he’s a dangerous one and he doesn’t seem to like girls that much. Perhaps i should move here instead?” Sun Li asked as worry lines creased her forehead.

“It’s fine, he’s only in school in the afternoon and I don’t intend on getting in his way.”

Although her reply was quick, she also felt touched about the thoughtfulness and genuineness of her friendships.

Before deciding to move her seat to this place which was the only seat space left free in their classroom, she had weighed her options well already.

Song Jian could be regarded as their classroom weirdo. No one knew anything about him other than the fact that he had beaten up close to three rich kids already without having anything happen to him.

There was also rumors flying around that he belonged to some gang here and there.

With all of those rumors since when they were in their first year, no one really wanted to associate themselves with him.

However, even with all that reputation, Song Jian had always been the third best student in their entire set making people feel like he might have some background behind him.

Besides, if there was going to be any danger, she believed she would handle it better than Sun Li would do it was better if she was sitting here.

After trying to convince her more than twice with no results, Sun Li finally gave up and moved on to another topic.

“Yue’er, my brothers said they would like to meet you so we could discuss about my grades.” Sun Li said.

Over the weekend, she had insisted on letting only Rong Yue tutor her which made her family helpless, especially now that they weren’t sure what relationship Rong Yue had with the young master was.

However, Sun Li was reluctant to let this opportunity go. If she was her tutor, she would after all be able to create a lot more chances between Rong Yue and her brother.

“You want me to tutor you?” Rong Yue asked with arched brows.

“Hmmm, I heard that when you taught the juniors, they understood even better than when the teachers taught them.” She explained.

Rong Yue looked at her expectant gaze for a while before nodding.

“I’ll think about it. Before then, please do tell your brothers that we can meet during the weekend when our schedules aren’t as tight. Also, you have to show me the other thing that you enjoy doing before then....” She went on to list two more conditions for Sun Li who nodded obediently the whole time.

As the both of them talked on and on, neither of them failed to see that Wu Hao who was seated on another row kept on looking in the direction with hesitation.

During the party, he had wished he could talk her from the moment she entered but not long after the socializing started, the both of them had gone off on their own. On the other hand, when they finally returned, it was even more impossible to talk to either of them when the young master had dragged her off.
