The Dark Magician Transmigrates After 66666 Years

Chapter 469: The Pillar (2)

Jamie and Ra swung their weapons with all their might, with each of them having a different expression.

“So cool, Jamie Welton!!”

It was an enjoyable thing to feel a sense of urgency that he hadn’t felt for such a long time. Had he ever been so intense like this?

Even in the distant past, there were old Gods strong enough to stand against him, but he never felt threatened.

Because he knew in the end that they would kneel before him. However, Jamie was different.

‘Even if we continue this fight, there is no guarantee that I will win.’

He wasn’t sure if he would win against him. It was thanks to Ra’s help that Jamie was strong, but most of them didn’t gain such strength even when the same thing was done to them. 1

This was why Ra was feeling an intense sense of fulfillment like never before.

Jamie’s blade brushed past Ra’s ear.

He did it at a crazy angle without hesitation and immediately closed the gap against the spear. The path of the blade couldn’t be guessed, and even his expressions and emotions couldn’t be read.

‘Truly the perfect being.’

He only had one thought—to kill Ra.

No, maybe it was beyond that.

Ra turned the spear gracefully and hit the blade to widen the distance, and Jamie rushed ahead using magic recklessly, not wanting to let go.

Every time the spear and sword collided, waves shook.

The invisible and intangible energies of the two most powerful beings in the history of the world covered the entire realm.

Ra smiled.

Jamie’s attacks slowly cut through his body, but he didn’t care.

“Come a bit stronger at me!”

Jamie swung his arm so fast that it couldn’t be seen. The slashes drew a single line and overlapped, and the wall of slashes flew towards Ra.

Ra created an odd gravitational field around him to break down this wall of slashes.

However, Jamie, who controlled the gravitational field with Tae Heo, tried to do the same in reverse.

“How many years do you think I have been dealing with this power?”

The gravitational force radiated outside.

“Controlling the four directions of the universe with Tae Heo is amazing, but you see, it is quite annoying, although it isn’t a bad thing.”

Several small dots of light appeared where the slashes were. Dots of light flashed, and the wall of slashes was destroyed as if it were collapsing.

Jamie felt a sudden pull from behind and protected himself with Tae Heo. At the same time, ‘force’ occurred right in front of his nose.

“Haha!”

Kwaaang!

There was an explosion of such size that it could shake the heavens. Tae Heo twisted everything in nature to reverse its effect so that Jamie wouldn’t be hurt. However, because of the black smoke in his surroundings, he couldn’t see properly.

But, of course, not being able to see well wasn’t a problem for him.

“Huhu. As I thought, it is impossible to harm you with just this.”

Fully aware of the great wave, Jamie was able to interfere with the happenings of the universe.

The two only fought with a sword and a spear without even using their true strength.

At the unfamiliar words, Jamie swung the blade and cleared the smoke. Even if the view didn’t mean much, it was a bit unpleasant not to be able to see.

When the smoke cleared up in front of him, he could see Ra standing a short distance away, and there was something in his hand.

“What is that?”

Jamie asked as he pointed to the small, multi-colored orb in Ra’s hand.

Ra glanced at it and said,

“The light of truth, should I call it that?”

“Light of truth?”

“Jamie Welton, are you aware that this is a fake world?”

“Are you talking about the second world?”

“It’s not that simple.”

Jamie frowned.

There were currently two identical worlds because of Ra, so what was not so simple?

It was hard for him to understand.

“Well, Gaia didn’t even properly inform you of that. She must not have felt the need to talk.”

“This is what she was hiding.”

“Do you realize what existed before this universe was created?”

They knew there was this huge explosion called the Big Bang, which created the present universe. However, he didn’t know what existed before that.

It wasn’t something he was curious about, nor was it an important issue.

Then Ra opened his mouth, saying that he knew the answer.

“Right. If you don’t know the truth, it doesn’t really matter what happened before the Big Bang.”

“Answer my question. If you don’t want to, then don’t answer it.”

Jamie took a stance. What he was curious about was the orb in his hands, not what was before the Big Bang.

Ra said,

“In the end, it is the path that runs through everything. The time before the Big Bang, the Big Bang, and the world after the Big Bang, where you and I are facing each other like this, are all of one stem.”

Jamie lowered his blade.

“It seems like you will listen.”

Ra smiled and began to walk.

“Where do I start? Right.”

He pondered, then snapped his fingers, and the pillar glowed as the space around them warped.

The heavenly world they were in changed into another space.

It was a place Jamie was somewhat familiar with.

No, it was a little different, but it was a place he had surely been to once.

“Isabelle and I came…”

He couldn’t recognize it at first because it was unclean, unlike in the past, but he felt sure of it when he saw the tombstone in the middle.

It was the subspace located deep in the underground of the Old Palace of the Seldam Kingdom.

Jamie double-checked it by seeing what was written on the tombstone.

[False world. It will be maintained by hiding failure and deceiving reality. Everything is an illusion. Put an end to the era of the fake that had been created under these pillars.]

At that time, he couldn’t understand what it meant. Actually, it was still the same this time too.

But since Ra was showing him this place, it felt like he could understand something.

“You aren’t shocked.”

“I have been here once.”

Hearing that Jamie had come here before, Ra looked a bit surprised, but he just nodded.

“You went under the Royal Palace of Seldam.”

“Were you the one who made this?”

“No. It was created long before I was born.”

Long before Ra was born, so that meant it was created when Gaia ruled the world alone.

However, Gaia, who could be said to be the ruler of the universe, had no reason to make this tombstone.

“Of course, this wasn’t made by Gaia. There were two beings who shaped the universe with her. This one was made by one of them.”

“There were two other people besides her?”

“Yes. The universe was created by the three of them. The problem is that Gaia betrayed them.”

Jamie could feel that this was the secret that Gaia wouldn’t tell him.

Ra said in a surprising tone,

“It looks like you were roughly expecting this.”

“Because she holds a lot of secrets.”

“Because she has hidden many things, even from her children. She wouldn’t have said anything because you were an outsider and could become a threat.”

“So, get to the point.”

“So impatient. It is simple. This is a world that resulted from one woman’s greed.”

He approached the tombstone and put his hand on it. The tombstone was stained with a faint light, and once again, the space began to change.

This time, there was only darkness, and Jamie looked around and saw a stream of reddish-yellow light not far away.

“Let’s go.”

As Ra and Jamie approached it, they saw three people sitting together.

And one of them was a face Jamie knew.

“Gaia.”

Except for the clothes she was wearing, she didn’t change. On either side of her were two men, one who was handsome and the other who had a rugged look.

They were having a serious conversation, but he couldn’t hear what they were talking about.

However, it wasn’t so difficult to read their minds, so he could roughly understand what they were saying.

“They are discussing the creation of the universe.”

“This is a place where the creation of the universe was discussed. Shall we watch the next scene?”

Ra snapped his fingers, and the darkness showed a new scene.

Gaia, who was in the center, was emitting a light so strong that no one could see her.

The men standing on either side had contorted faces in pain, unable to scream.

And all the things that spread out in the universe began to come together.

“The birth of the pillar.”

Jamie’s heart began to pound at Ra’s voice beside him. Despite being an Absolute, this sight was still breathtaking for him.

It was then.

“It cannot continue like this.”

Gaia’s voice could be clearly heard.

“A universe made like this will eventually repeat the same as the world we lived in.”

“Gaia!!!”

“What are you…?!”

“I am sorry, brothers.”

Gaia put everything that made the universe unstable in the form of a pillar. But they weren’t the only things inside it.

As he watched the entire universe turn to nothing, Ra said,

“Gaia broke the promise. After the Big Bang, she should have laid a new foundation for the universe by bringing together all the chaotic things in the universe with the pillar, but she didn’t.”

“Until…”

“Right. Everything that made up the universe got sealed in the pillar. Why would she do that?”

“To recreate the universe however she wanted.”

“Right. But the world never became what it was meant to be.”

Ra snapped his fingers.

They were now in damp darkness, with a person crawling on the ground with a pained look.

His entire body was charred as if it had been exposed to something it shouldn’t have. It was difficult to recognize him from the outside, but Jamie could roughly guess his identity.

“One of the two?”

“I don’t know who of the two it is. But, as luck would have it, he somehow survived. And so he began to make the tombstone. The one we were able to see.”

The man’s face was burned, and his expression couldn’t be read, but he was full of resentment and anger.

His hands wouldn’t stop trembling in rage. And he used the last bit of his strength to make the tombstone with the hope that someone would discover it and put an end to the world of lies one day.

When Ra snapped his fingers one last time, they returned to where they were before.

“The truth of the world. The ugly truth and secret that Gaia has been hiding.”

Ra turned to Jamie and asked,

“I want to hear your thoughts. How about this now? Is this world worth saving even now?”

At that, Jamie answered without having to think about it,

“Of course.”

Then he pointed to Ra with his weapon.

“Even if this world is fake, the hearts of my family, friends, and colleagues are all real. So there is enough reason for me to protect them.”

Ra frowned at Jamie’s words.

“Disappointing. I was hoping you would get it right. Well, it doesn’t matter.”

He smiled and raised the orb in his hand.

Come to think of it, he hadn’t heard of its identity yet. And when Jamie looked at it warily, Ra revealed its identity.

“A product of force whenever you and I collide.”

“Product of force?”

“And with this.”

The orb contained energy beyond imagination.

“I will destroy the pillar.”
