The Supreme Level Up System

Chapter 444 Sky Of Swords

"Heal yourself and analyze what I did. I will give you some time to do so," Aion said.

It seemed that Aion was getting carried away, and Vangel laughed thanks to that. Still, he had a plan of his own and reasons to give the enemy a chance to learn more about his skills and powers. Aion had to find where those three were, and he could only imagine that Vangel put them in a pocket dimension as well.

Despite having the chance to kill Vangel, Aion hesitated. He couldn\'t bring himself to end Vangel\'s life just yet. There was a nagging feeling inside him—a concern for the well-being of his Mother, Seris, and Arlana. Aion knew that if he were to deliver the final blow without first finding out if they were trapped in a pocket dimension created by Vangel, they might be lost forever.

A sense of urgency overcame Aion as he realized the gravity of the situation. His heart ached at the thought of his loved ones being stranded in an unknown realm, their fate uncertain. Should he perish, he couldn\'t bear the thought of their lives being extinguished along with Vangel\'s.

Vangel saw through Aion\'s behavior; he expected as much, and that was why he was amused while the wound that made him feel like a dead man was already disappearing, thanks to Time Reversal.

Vangel learned his lesson and immediately used Timeless Slash and Force Slash. The unavoidable attack hit Aion from above and immediately pushed him downward.

The city lay in ruins, reduced to rubble and debris, as Vangel\'s devastating attack sent shockwaves of destruction through its streets. The once bustling and vibrant place was now a wasteland of broken buildings and scattered remnants of what once was.

Undeterred by the devastation, Vangel unleashed his powers again and again, each strike tearing at Aion\'s body with brutal force. The relentless assault tore through Aion\'s flesh, causing him unimaginable pain and leaving his defenses shattered.

Aion, his body torn and bleeding, fought to hold himself together. Each blow sent waves of agony coursing through his being, threatening to tear him apart. But he refused to yield, driven by a fierce determination to protect his loved ones and find the truth he sought.

When Vangel stopped, the capital had become a massive number of craters all around the area. Still, he didn\'t feel Aion\'s presence decreasing past a certain point again.

When the dust dissipated, Vangel furrowed his eyebrows while looking almost completely wounded from head to toe. While not as fast as Time Reversal, his body was being healed.

"As expected of a skill that combines the techniques of Malon and my father," Aion said and then tapped the dust away from his clothes. "That never stops shocking me."

Vangel smirked, he could tell that Aion was trying to piss him off, but that didn\'t happen. It only motivated Vangel more.

"Shall I show a skill that you used in the future and you don\'t have now?" Vangel asked.

"But of course, bring it on," Aion said while smiling.

"All right, here it goes," Vangel said and then raised his sword.

Suddenly, a massive chunk of ice came hurtling down from the sky, crashing into the ground with an earth-shattering impact. The ground trembled beneath Aion\'s feet as the shockwave rippled through the area, causing buildings to shake and crumble.

A thick dust and debris clouded up, obscuring the surroundings in a hazy curtain. It was as if a giant veil had been thrown over the area, making it difficult to see more than a few steps ahead. The dust hung in the air, creating an eerie and disorienting atmosphere.

As the dust settled and the echoes of the impact subsided, a massive curtain of swirling dust and debris enveloped the vicinity. The once-clear air became a dense and hazy, obscuring vision and creating an eerie atmosphere.

Within the dust curtain, a sense of foreboding filled the air. The very essence of the surroundings seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly presence. It was as if the meteor\'s arrival had brought with it a veil of mystery and uncertainty.

"Well, what do you think?" Vangel asked while he was standing at the top of the meteor that was five kilometers wide.

"As expected of me!" Aion said, and then the meteor split in two. "The power of this attack is quite something. It is a pity that it can\'t be used alongside time magic. Or maybe it can…"

Vangel didn\'t feel Aion\'s presence getting weaker, so it seemed that he stopped all the damage even before the fall… Vangel didn\'t have the chance to see or check anything, so he wondered how things happened that way.

"By the way, all you can do is copy, right?" Aion asked. "Can\'t you at least try to be a bit original? Considering all the skills that you know, shouldn\'t you be able to at least combine the things you know?"

That was getting old fast, but that kind of insult was starting to annoy Vangel… he didn\'t want to make that too obvious, but he didn\'t have much of a choice when it came to controlling his own feelings.

In the end, Vangel just smiled, and then he opened several rifts where his clones started to come from. In the end, they didn\'t bring their swords, but they raised their hands to the sky, and then they used their magic.

The sky was filled with a breathtaking sight as countless mana swords, shimmering with ethereal energy, blanketed the heavens. They hung suspended in the air like celestial ornaments, their radiant glow casting an otherworldly hue upon the landscape below. The sheer number of swords was staggering, stretching as far as the eye could see.
